Brewery Tour Testimonials
“Great Brewery Tour!”
If you are visiting the Stowe/Morrisville area, definitely consider a brewery tour with 4 Points, where they take you behind the scenes at some of Vermont’s best micro-breweries. Rick and Marina are terrific tour guides, and they provide door-to-door service – very fun for a group!

“Fantastic three for one tour!”
This was a great half day plus tour! It was not just a brewery tour. Turns out it was a beer, cider and liqueur tour! We started at a wonderful small home grown brewery called Rock Art Brewery where one of the two head brewmasters explained and showed us the entire brewing process from a glass enclosed perch above the brewing floor. And the tasting was comprehensive. Next we drove a few minutes to Green Mt Distillery where we were greeted by the owner and creator of the business. We tasted a couple of the smoothest vodkas ever as well as a not yet for sale corn whiskey and an over the top maple liqueur. We drove a few short miles to a cidery. We tasted four different hard ciders ranging from bone dry to mildly sweet. All three stops were private tastings. We had exclusive access to the brewmaster, distiller and cider maker. Next, for a scenic detour, we visited the iconic Trapp Family Lodge. The brewery was closed so we had a tasting of the Von Trapp Brews in the Austrian inspired lodge. The crew was getting hungry so we ended our tour a few miles down the road at the Prohibition Pig, a brew pub where we ate drank and tasted the “best of Vermont” brews. Rick, our tour guide was congenial and very knowledgeable who’s mission was quite obviously to show us a good time. All we had to do was get in and out of Rick’s van and belly up to the bar. Fantastic!

“4 Points Brew Tour”
Where to start, exactly? If you have never been on a brew tour before, you’re missing out and if you have then you know how skimp samples can be, but in Stowe, Vermont there is no such thing as skimp. For the amount of money you will put in you will get twice of that in return with laughs, stories, food, and drinks. I promise the tour to be the highlight of your trip, and will hold very high standards for any other future tours. Rick is full of life and knows everyone in town and trust me when I say you are leaving this tour buzzed. Had we not been on a strict timeline, Rick would have kept us out all night! Go to Stowe, call Rick, he is your one stop shop for all things fun, brews and mountain biking! Rick knows Andrew and I will be back for sure! Until next time! Alexis R. NJ
“Stowe Tasting Tour”
Four of us had a wonderful, educational and fun time going to 5 awesome tasting stops. Rick is a person that loves Stowe and it shows. He is the perfect guide to take you to these awesome and unique microbreweries, cider and distillery establishments. We enjoyed the tastings, the conversations and some awesome appetizers. When we go back with our group in 2017, we are adding cheese to the tasting tour! Thanks Rick for a fantastic part of our visit to Stowe!
My husband and I went on the brewery tour with Rick and it was the highlight of our weekend getaway! Rick arrived promptly at the front door of our hotel and greeted us with a huge genuine smile. He took us and another couple and made 5 stops. 3 beer breweries, one cider house and one distillery. All tastings included. And there were A LOT, 4+ samples per location even a few apps included at one of the stops. Rick is an extremely personable and easy going guy and had a vast knowledge of the Stowe area! We would highly recommend and we’re looking forward to our next visit to Stowe to enjoy another brew tour! Thank you for the best day! I would highly recommend 4 Points 100X over doing the Stowe self-guided tour. Thanks so much Rick!!!

“The only brewery tour to do…”
With the ski conditions a bit icy my company organized a brewery tour through Stowe Mountain Resort with Rick. Wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but it was the highlight of our weekend. Rick knows the history of the area and was so helpful understanding the the impact of the beer renaissance that’s taking place in VT. He’s clearly well liked at all the establishments we visited and was never rushing us from place to place. His natural ease and calm demeanor made us feel he was more of a friend showing us his home then a guide.

“Spent an afternoon w 12 coworkers and our new best friends, Rick and Marina”
First off, we asked for a specialized beer and CHEESE tour. Rick was excited to assist w the pairing AS WELL AS the brewers and cheese-makers. I never met a cheese-maker before and was touched how he lovingly described how his wife cared for their cows.
We went to three breweries each interesting and tasty. I don’t know how they did it but Rick got a Von Trapp to ski up to us, talk w us, tell us about his newborn, Wolfgang and pose for pictures.
It was more than a great experience. All of us were wow-ed. Signed, Karen
We headed to Stowe to celebrate our anniversary and found 4 Points while searching breweries in the area. Rick was a fantastic tour guide and very knowledgeable about the local places to go. Rock Art was our first stop, where we had a behind the scenes tour with one of the brewers. Lost Nation was our next stop, followed by a cider house and Green Mountain Distillery. A trip into Waterbury was next for the elusive Heady Topper. It was an excellent experience and we can’t wait to do it again! Thanks, Rick!
“The Way to Go for Beer and Local Expertise~”
There’s no other brew tour out there that will give you such a manageable, tasty and informative experience. Rick’s a knowledgeable and connected local– huge plus. He kinda knows everyone and everything. Turns out he’s a heck of a ski AND mountain bike instructor, too!

“Craft beer tour”
I did the craft beer tour with a group of 10 people. We hit 4 breweries and did a tasting at each one. Plus got a tour of Rock Art and Idletyme brewing. We finished up with food and great fun with the group. A great experience!
